Makeup Foundations - Liquid MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15
Review on: Foundations - Liquid MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15
I have a friend who just raved and raved about MAC Cosmetics so I gave in and decided to try one of their foundations. From the get go I was not impressed. The makeup artist picked a color that was way too dark and I ended up picking out a lighter one myself and applying it with them watching because my skill was better than theirs.  Even the lightest one was a little too dark making it hard to blend effectively into the jawline. Like an idiot I thought it was just the harsh store lighting but color looked worse outside! I echo many reviews in saying that this product is very yellow!! Not for us pale girls at all! Coloring issues aside it does provide nice coverage for a short time, but I found that it tends to slide around and clump together if you don't reapply powder several times a day. I am sad to say that I would NOT recommend this product, and I had such high hopes!!!!

Pros:
Cons: Colors too yellow, not for pale skin
Makeup Foundations - Liquid Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation- $40.00
Review on: Foundations - Liquid Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation
When I was in NYC at the end of July, I schlepped over to the MUFE store from Penn Station in the brief time I had before I had to catch the A train to JFK just so I could try this foundation.  Of course, my color was sold out but they gave me a sample.  Can I just say love?  The first couple of times I tried it, I used a foundation brush and it didn't come out that great, plus it flaked on my chin.  Turns out the flaking was from a sunscreen I've been using.  With a good primer, this stuff stays on really well and with a Sonia Kashuk elliptical sponge it applies beautifully (I stipple).  One of the things I *love* about it is that when I apply it, I don't look like I'm wearing foundation -- it looks like my skin.  It also looks amazing in photographs.  MUFE has created a very wide range of shades in this foundation, too, which is great.  If I actually start getting wedding clients, I'm going to be buying this for foundation.
Pros: Looks like my own skin only better, very lightweight feel, photographs well, beautiful in person...
Cons: Expensive! Also, without primer it doesn't look as good, but isn't that true of most, if not all, foundations?
Makeup Foundations - Liquid Make Up For Ever Face and Body Liquid Foundation- $38.00
Review on: Foundations - Liquid Make Up For Ever Face and Body Liquid Foundation
I used Face & Body foundation for my wedding and I've worn it both before and since.  Every time, it's stayed on until I take it off.  The only problem is that I need to do multiple coats because it's so sheer.  It looks like my skin only better and it photographs beautifully.
Pros: Stays on all day *and* night, doesn't sweat off, doesn't run with tears, basically it doesn't budge, looks like my natural skin, feels so lightweight sometimes I forget I'm wearing it.
Cons: Need multiple applications for good coverage, have to wait between each "coat" for the foundation to dry, which takes a little while. Also, it has a strong fragrance which could be a problem for some people and the glass bottle, while durable, is a little heavy.
Makeup Foundations - Liquid Estée Lauder Double Wear Light

This is a great alternative to those who want a natural look.  I've been trying different MMUs and TMs without a great deal of success.  MMUs tend to make me look dry (even w/moisturizer and primer) and TMs are usually too greasy looking on my skin.  I got a sample of this from Nordstrom's (the MA recommended this one after I told her I wanted a very natural look).  I love this stuff!  It doesn't break me out, gives me natural/sheer coverage and gives me a luminous look that I'd been missing with MMU.  I don't "love" very many products.  I like alot but don't usually say this is the best.  But...this really is a quality product delivers as promised.

For reference, I am a MAC NC20 and I use DWL in intensity #2.
Pros: natual/sheer, no breakout, luminous look
Cons: none
Makeup Foundations - Liquid Almay TLC Truly Lasting Color Makeup- $12.00
Review on: Foundations - Liquid Almay TLC Truly Lasting Color Makeup
This product is finally supposed to replace my HG of a few years ago, Almay Amazing Lasting. It came out in December and I've been using it for a few months now. I'd say it is on the level of amazing lasting. It doesn't smudge or fade, it does give the 16 hours it says. I can't say it doesn't budge at all under water, but it stays pretty fresh. Great coverage just like Amazing Lasting and it has a pump dispenser. My new HG.
Pros: Stays on for 16 hours, full coverage, pump dispenser.
Cons:
Makeup Foundations - Liquid Revlon custom creations- $13.00
Review on: Foundations - Liquid Revlon custom creations
Pros: Provides good medium coverage. Did not breakout my skin. I bought a medium & was able to get coverage with 3. Lasts all day
Cons: If you are not exactly at 3 on the dial you end up running out of one color. Did feel mildly uncomfortable when it got really hot & had to use blotting paper a couple of times but it's not too bad
Makeup Foundations - Liquid Miss Sporty Miss Sporty Shine Control Foundation- $5.00
Review on: Foundations - Liquid Miss Sporty Miss Sporty Shine Control Foundation
I bought this foundation the other day instead of my usual Rimmel as I was short of cash, and it was a great decision! For £2.49 this foundation is amazing. Great coverage and it is perfect for my fair skintone, blends evenly without making me look in the slightest bit orange! I am so pleased with this product. On the negative side, this foundation only comes in 3 shades, light, medium and dark, but light works perfectly for me. It also smells really nice and hasn't broke me out in spots like most other foundations have done. Would definately recommend.

Makeup Foundations - Liquid Shiseido - Maquillage Climax Lasting Gel UV - $55.00
Review on: Foundations - Liquid Shiseido - Maquillage Climax Lasting Gel UV
Aqua gel based new formulation covers pore and uneven complexion. It gives a lasting beauitiful smooth finish that can withstand sweats. It has SPF24. I have oily skin and this works for me so far. I feel that my skin is glowing when i wear this foundation. It is very light to the skin.
Pros: so light to wear, very nice finish
Cons:
Makeup Foundations - Liquid Sally Hansen airbrush foundation
Review on: Foundations - Liquid Sally Hansen airbrush foundation
Well, I wouldn't say this product is bad, because I liked the natural and light finish that it gave as well as the coverage.

If you have dry skin, you'll want to stay away from this foundation, though.  It dried my skin out like nobody's business after a few uses.

It's a little hard to find a color match as well as most drugstores won't let you test the foundation shades before you buy.  But whatever you do, don't get the "no color" one.  It's pure yellow.  But the other shades are normal. :)
Pros: Finish.
Cons: Dried out my skin.

I didn't like the finish of this foundation, but it wore off after 3 hours anyway.

Honestly, it's nothing different from any other non-longwearing cheap drugstore foundation for me.

I suppose if you're looking for eco friendly, paraben free makeup at drugstore prices, it might be worth it...but I won't be repurchasing.  Actually, I think I'm going to see if anyone else wants it, because I won't be using mine up.

Makeup Foundations - Liquid NYX Liquid Foundation in Natural Beige- $9.99
Review on: Foundations - Liquid NYX Liquid Foundation in Natural Beige

I have light to medium skin with yellow under tones and this is the perfect shade for me. The consistency almost reminds me of a lotion. It has a light perfume-y smell, which isn't bad but I prefer unscented makeup. It comes in a bottle that has a pump, which I love because it keeps the product in the bottle from getting contaminated. The bottle is plastic, and I would prefer glass but really that doesn't matter. It does an excellent job of evening out my skin. It's very light, and I can't even tell I am wearing it. It does wear off a bit in my oily areas(typical of oily skin and liquid foundations), but I just wear some Neutrogena Dry Touch sunscreen as a mattifier and my problem is solved! Then it lasts all day. It doesn't settle into my fine lines or pores at all. In fact my skin looks very smooth when I wear it. I would consider this a medium to full coverage foundation. I use less than one full pump of product for my entire face. I have been wearing this for quite some time now, and I have not had a single breakout. And I have acne prone skin! I couldn't find any swatches online that look close to what the product looks like in person. On my screen the picture I took above clearly depicts the shade. I set my foundation with my EDM finishing powder, and it worked just fine. I would definitely repurchase this. It's my new favorite foundation!
Pros: Good coverage, can't feel it when you wear it, no breakouts, makes my skin look smooth, pump bottle keeps from contaminating product, little goes a long way, and more!
Cons: Can't find it locally, need a mattifier is you have oily skin
Makeup Foundations - Liquid Dior DiorSkin Forever Flawless
Review on: Foundations - Liquid Dior DiorSkin Forever Flawless
After reading all the positive reviews on this foundation on here I decided to buy it and have not been disappointed.
The foundation is medium, yet very natural looking. It smells really pleasant and feels nice on the skin. It comes with a pump, and you don´t need to use a lot cause it spreads very nicely on the skin
Pros: good, very natural looking coverage. The pump is convenient
Cons: price, limited color range

Makeup Foundations - Liquid E.L.F. Shielding Hydro-Tint SPF 15- $1.00
Review on: Foundations - Liquid E.L.F. Shielding Hydro-Tint SPF 15
Ugh...did this just say Hydro-Tint? Yes, but this is just ELF's form of foundation. There is a serious lack of shades, and undertones, and I am a prime believer that your skin tone should not be catagorized under "Tone 1, Tone 2, Tone 3, or Tone 4". I chose tone 3, and I was less than content with the outcome of this foundation. First off, this is nothing much than a tinted moisturizer, even if I did "layer" my foundation, there was absoulteuy no coverage at all,- and this formula was extremely greasy and smelled of oranges! This so called "Hydro-Tint" would be best for pre-teen girls with extremely dry skin and a dull complection. I will, and wont ever touch this stuff again! No greasy face for me!
Pros: Moisturizes your skin.
Cons: Makes your skin look very very very dangerously, and hideously greasy.

Makeup Foundations - Liquid Studio Gear Satin Foundation- $23.00
Review on: Foundations - Liquid Studio Gear Satin Foundation
 Studio Gear's Satin Foundation.
I am not at all prone to acne, I never have been. I don't get acne unless I have been slacking on my daily facial routine, which I am normally militaristic about. Every day before I put any makeup on my face I use an SPF 15 moisturizer. Every night I use a face wash, then I use witch hazel on a cotton square all over my face, and then I moisturize. I used this foundation for about two months. At first I figured I was slacking on the face routine. After about a month of perfect performance, I was still breaking out with this foundation.
This is a great foundation, but it isn't worth it. It's fairly expensive  and damaging to your face. It's not full coverage-worthy.
Pros: Beautiful range of colors, great coverage, looks good.
Cons: will cause breakouts, feels heavy in hot environments, very liquid and spills from the container if not careful.

Excellent foundation!!  The finish is very natural, and it is excellent for drier skins.  Great buildable coverage.

Makeup Foundations - Liquid Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer- $40.00
Review on: Foundations - Liquid Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer

I purchased after reading three of Bobbi Brown's books and her concept of makeup. I loved that she understood that not all women want the whole made up look and to look like they're wearing makeup at all. So I figured, for 40 bucks she better selling what she's preaching. I was satisfied all the way except for one thing. This was my introduction to the scary world of obvious jawlines and orange faces. The first time I bought this I used it as sparingly as possible and made a little go a long way due to it's price. It lasted me 11 months and didn't dry out at all. I loved it and still do. My second time it only lasted 8 to 9 months (better job, more usage.) The moisturizer itself was pretty good and had a strong yellowish tone to it (Bobbi believes everyone has some yellow undertones and that yellow automatically contrasts the darks spots and circles and warms the face.) Now I don't believe everyone has yellow tones but I certainly and obviously do so no complaints there. The is the only face product that did not turn orange on my oily skin and lasted all day. It did rub off a little but not to the point that you could it was coming off. It blended really well into my skin and you couldn't tell I had anything on. But what really turned me off about the whole thing is the smell. It has a peppery, spicy scent that's very crisp. The smell does goes away but it takes about 30 minutes to do so. Since I ran out, I'm looking for something more affordable but if not, I'll come back to this (my HG so far).

Pros: Last all day, is sheer, evened out my skin toned (all i needed)
Cons: PRICE!!!

Makeup Foundations - Liquid Make Up For Ever C-Thru Tinted Moisturizer- $8.00
Review on: Foundations - Liquid Make Up For Ever C-Thru Tinted Moisturizer
purchased this in Natural and I absolutely loved the smell of it. It's like a green-tea sweetness and very calming. The only problem is that it made my face have an orange tint to it. It's very watery-like in consistency and overall didn't do anything to my skin but make it orange with an obvious different shade on my face in comparison to the rest of my body. It didn't create and even toned look and you could also just barely touch your face and it leave a print on whatever had pressed against it. You do get a good bit for 8 bucks but overall it just wasn't worth it for me.
Pros: Cheap for a tinted moisturizer, smells very pleasant
Cons: turned orange no matter what, came off by barely touching your face
Makeup Foundations - Liquid Prescriptives Virtual Skin- $32.00
Review on: Foundations - Liquid Prescriptives Virtual Skin
THIS IS TOTALLY MY HG FOUNDATION!!! I had a hard time getting this stuff because when I finally found time to go to the counters it turned out that they had removed it from our region due to lack of sales. So I had to order off ebay bc I did not want to pay full price for something that wasn't my match. I got mine in Real Vellum and omg! perfect!! While I do have extremely oily skin and this does nothing for it I've never had anything that actually matched my skin and felt like I was wearing nothing. I can still tell that I've got makeup on but it doesn't scream "MAKEUP" like other foundations do. It's very lightweight and completely disappears into my skin (I use a foundation brush) I apply light powder to set and *bam* natural looking!! It doesn't cake or wipe off when I touch my face lightly (mind you any makeup will budge if you wipe it hard enough) and doesn't slide off my face (and remember, I have oily skin to the extreme that I have to blot it at least 2x minimum a day!!) And it doesn't oxidize!! NO ORANGE FACE!! I highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for the next step up from a tinted moisturizer. Bear in mind that I don't have any blemishes to cover up and minor redness if any at all around the nose. This really is meant to just even my skintone so I don't look blotchy. It is not meant to cover heavy scarring or blemishes. I do plan on rebuying this but lately I'm planning on testing out mineral foundations which I want because it's even more natural. If it doesn't work out, then I'l definitely rebuy!!
Pros: Looks very natural
Cons: A bit too pricey

My info for reference:
MAC NC25-30, Normal skin, Brown eyes, Not Acne-Prone but Freckles

This foundation is probably the best drugstore foundation I have tried. Great coverage, natural finish. It is a thick formula, so don't apply too much.  It looks very beautiful and is long-lasting.

It comes in a bottle with a pump which is great. However, the bottles are frosted glass, so it is difficult to find a color.  The lightest color is too light for some MAC NC/W 15 uses, so extremely light-skinned girls may be able to find a match with this foundation.

I think I found a match with Nude Beige, the third color available.
